Happy Anniversary

Today is Joel & my 11th wedding anniversary. How are we celebrating you ask? By doing household projects. Delightful, eh? Actually, we'll be celebrating with dinner & a movie next weekend. It's kind of hard to celebrate on Labor Day weekend; everything is just crazy busy. But this is still our day.

This picture makes me happy. Oh, it's a pretty picture all right, but the story behind it is what makes smile. It's so Joel. He's just a really thoughtful guy. We were driving home from the movies and crossed the bridge across the Spokane River. Looking to the west was just the most incredible sunset and I said, "Wow! Look at the that! I wish I had my camera!" As we crossed the bridge I realized that I did have my point & shoot with me. So without even asking, my sweet husband turned around and drove back across the bridge so I could get this shot. What a great guy!

So, happy anniversary, sweetheart. It's been 11 great years. :)
