I had planned to blog three to four times a week. How long has it been now? Three to four months? To say that I'm busy-busy-busy is a bit of an understatement. Being a mother of four who volunteers heavily and is trying to launch her online business doesn't allow for a whole lot of free time.
I guess the biggest news is my online couponing site, NW Deal Seeker, has expanded to include a premium site. Basically I match up the weekly ads with coupons to get the lowest prices on groceries. It's a lot of data entry for me as well as combing the ads to find the deals. Oh, and I still have the free couponing blog to maintain as well that goes along with the site. If you're not a member, you live in Coeur d'Alene, Spokane or the surrounding areas, you should become a member and start saving some major money on your grocery budget with little effort on your part.
We are also currently fundraising for our daughter's trip to England and France this summer with People to People. She has started her own online blog to keep people informed of her trip preparations and would get a kick out of it if she were to get a bunch of followers *hint-hint*. It's called Go Rebekah Go and she is "supposed to" update it each week with her trip preparations now that we are well underway with group meetings and projects for the trip. Next month she has to do an oral presentation about one of the site they will see on their trip. In April, we will be doing a community service project. Surprisingly, there is a lot of projects and learning that goes into a People to People trip and she is learning a lot. Oh, and she just received a $1000 scholarship to go towards her trip that she applied for in December with an essay and questionaire. That should help out with the the $5000 price tag that this trip is costing us.
I have started working out in earnest over the last few months, taking advantage of our Kroc Center membership while the kids are all at school. About a month ago I also started really watching what eat as well and have seen the weight starting come off. So far I've lost a total of 8 lbs. Only another 30 or 40 to go. Ugh. But I will keep trudging onwards and downward.
I've said this before and I'm sure I'll say it again: I will be be better and blogging regularly!
